its annoying that the builders workshop is actually an all items/cheat map,

so i decided to make myself a real builders map, one that has only cosmetic items for building your dream house.

only finished the blocks and most walls so far
what do yall think? im building it mostly for myself but i might publish it if people like it.

the world is special too
-super tall trees (25-75 blocks high)
-no ice, dungeon, hell, or jungle, just one chrimson. for maximum room to build
-1000% extra gemstones and much larger gemstone caves
-really just meant to be a build world - but underground is flooded with extra traps for fun
-you can copy and paste the building house into a regular world if you want to use it for a playthrough using tedit

I dislike this, along with a large amount of the community because, like the Builders Workshop map, and other item maps, this is ruining Terraria. No hate towards you, just the concept of giving players items that they should be working for

On problem with these maps in general even if it is block only things, There are certain block items used in crafting, That said people can "Cheat" The system.

THOUGH I can say this is MCUH better than the standard BW +1 to OP for making an already better BW

No, it's not a cheat map. It is your choice to use it that way.
It is only an all items map because people use it that way. You can either use it as it's name, or use it in a different way. No player is going to grind and grind for, oh, maybe a biome key to get a weapon to place on your wall once you get it.
Many times I have used the map to help me in my projects, and simply asking for people to grind for their building blocks (which is one of the most aggravating things in my experience) and other items to decorate their home like IWerm is stating is wrong, and limiting the player's creative potential with your map is also wrong.

Yes, that is fine. For you. Asking others to act the exact same way as you and stating that any other way is a bad way is simply not how it works. If they have fun, let them have fun. Not everyone is willing to devote all of their time to this game to simply build or just play the game.
I agree with people that say that new players should not get an all items map- But denying veterans things they have already gained is simply stupid.

Yes, you basically stated what I was saying. Everyone is free to do whatever they want, and that is the point of a sandbox, really. You enjoy the game your own way, some may feel like it's cheating to add items and get them from maps, and some may feel that if they want to, they should be allowed to. Arguing over this is just trivial, and it won't stop anybody from doing anything.

everybody's saying "no you're making the game too cheaty for others" to a map with only blocks but yall should be telling this to the map with endgame weapons and armor

i get that its technically cheating, but its not for playing the full game -
its for being creative and exploring the building part of the game only.

we cant all be satisfied with building little shacks all the time some of us like to dream big.
im not farming 8000 wood blocks for a build, and while ive probably cut down twice that many trees in my time in terraria, aint nobody got time for that.

Yes. Not all of us are satisifed with that. That's why I don't understand your viewpoint- Having more items to decorate your buildings with is bad because they can be used as cheats? This map is simply unneccessary.

Well, wood is a bad example, but yes. For example, the gemspark blocks. You can't get certain ones in certain worlds, so you can use the TBW for getting them. It's not like building great buildings that look amazing is really helping you in any way. I could accomplish the same with wood! But this should really help those builders who don't want to have to sort through countless items and armor sets.

As long as there's no Solar Fragments the Luminite is fine, best armor you can make is Spectre with only blocks (counting ore bars as blocks). This is the true purpose of BW, thanks for creating
