I can't find the Angler.

In a large world I can't find him.He isn't in the ocean biome and I don't kown why.Did this happen to you,can I fix it?

I had that problem, too, but when I came back in the ocean biome another time he was suddenly there sleeping. If this does not work it might be a glitch.

Yea I tried it but I think my ocean might be gliched beacuse no matter how many times I tied he wasn't there

Try fishing in the oceon, he will slowley float towards you

I've found him on the sand, I've foudn him floating on the water, I've found him in a number of different places at different times, and only once I actually wanted to find him.

The only reason I put up with him at all is because he's required to make the cell phone.


But back on topic: my best advice to find him is not actively try to search for him. Instead, find a pair of flippers, and go swimming. Fight pink jellyfish and sharks. You can get a diving helmet to combine with the flippers, and a jellyfish necklace to combine with the resulting diving gear. That water equipment will come in handy if you ever want to build a proper hellevator.

Every once in a while (probably after every 3 to 5 shark kills) check the shore again. You'll get underwater fighting experience, new useful equipment, money, and he'll eventually spawn. You may even find him when you're surfacing for air.
