Yelets or Excalibur?

I have Demonic Yelets with Yoyo Bag and Savage Excalibur. I am gonna fight with the Skeletron Prime. Didn't beat him yet. What do you think about this should i use sword or yoyo? also i can create a mage set

Definetly use the yoyo because if you tried the excalibur up close you would get his 4 arms up your ass

I would use Yelets. Yo-Yos in this game are quite overpowered. And Excalibur itself is not very good, actually. It can be upgraded to the True Excalibur or even the Terra Blade if you get lucky in a Solar Eclipse, but the sword just by itself is not great.
If you plan on using magic, I would suggest the Meteor Staff, and the Nimbus Rod. Magical Harp is also pretty nice, but it's way better on the Destroyer than on Prime.

guys i just got superior spirit flame it has pretty good damage rate i think i will build a mage for this what do you think about accessories? which ones should i have?
