anyone want to help me kill the dungeon guardian? i came close to killing him but i used the magic mirror by accident and he despawned

no its just that there is some times there is cunfusion on which one of those is the dungeon guardian. i was just trying to get him to clarify

if you try to go into ther dungeon before you kill skeletron, a giant skull comes out of nowhere and instantly kills you

Killing the Dungeon Guardian is tedious anyway. All you get is a pet that does nothing but gloat about how you killed an enemy by hitting it multiple times for a while until it died. Then again that's what most of the items from some bosses do anyway so whatever.

I'm trying to dissuade the OP from not wasting his time if he expects some great reward for something tedious.

I was gonna teach him to build a farm (and the Dungeon Guardian farm is good one to start with). Farms are not just for gloating they can be very useful knowledge to get people to let you join thier play through. (also useful for your own play through)
And besides he may not have even wanted the bone key it might have just want to feel the self accomplishment of killing a Dungeon Guardian.
