Meteorite I think (Or crimtane, but you can't get that cause it's a corrupty world)

nope. meteorite is weaker than shadow scale

Well, go to Hell. Literally. The Hellstone there can be combined with Obsidian at a Hellforge (the furnaces you find in Hell) to make Hellstone Bars, and those make Molten Armor.

Necro for ranged, Jungle and meteor for magic and molten for Melee

jungle is better than meteor unless you wish to spam the space gun, and good luck beating WoF easily with that.
Easiest way to kill WoF is pheonix blaster + molten, since grinding out necro takes lots of effort. Naturally the moment you do you switch off to some melee weapon and get a titan glove ASAP.

Did Expert mode WOF with my friend easily with necro and jungle, bee's knees and bee pack
