Moss Hornets too OP?

I've made a massive pit in the jungle and im getting knocked around by all these moss hornets, is there any way to slow down the spawn rate of these hornets?

The Jungle has a naturally high spawn rate by default. You could maybe use a Calming Potion but it might not work very well.

This, I would suggest regulating the amount of enemies every minute or two to keep them from building up.

If you're being knocked around, try using a Cobalt Shield or anything it crafts into. You can find it in the Dungeon.

Thanks guys I just got a Cobalt Shield and some calming potions and it helps alot.
