Frost Armor or Chlorophyte Armor (ranger helmet)?

I'm preparing to fight Plantera, but I don't know which is better. I'm going to use a Chlorophyte Shotbow with either Holy or Ichor arrows.

Definitely either Chlorophyte or Hallowed, if you're going ranged.

I have Hallowed currently. Come to think of it, I should probably save the Chlorophyte for Shroomite bars.

Chlorophyte has ONE more defence than frost armor. so the differece in defence is minamal. in bonuses, chlorophyte has 29% more ranged damage, 12% critical strike boost, the leaf crystal dose 100 damage per hit and hit's on its own or when an enemy takes damege, and a 20% chance to not consume ammo. The frost armor's frostburn debuff dose 8 damage per second. If you are useing megashark (recommended) the aproximate DPS (damage per second) will be 276 (not counting criticals or the leaf cystal). Frost armor is approximately 222 DPS (frostburn included). NOTE: this is just base damage and the decimals were rounded to the nearest whole number.

The verdict; use chlorophyte.
