I'm playing the Calamity mod, and I killed Calamitas, but the world generated the Profaned Crags when I first created it, yet Calamitas still dropped the Calamity biome thingy.

Is the Calamity biome an entirely different biome, did my game mess up and generate the Calamity biome/Profaned Crags early, or is this intentional and the devs were going to remove the Calamity biome item?

Hi, I have been doing a modded world with my friends with calamity thorium tremor and some other ones and the item to spawn the "calamity biome" should have a note to not use if you already have one in your world. This refers to the one in hell that should be at the far left or right of the world. the profaned crags and the calamity biome are technically the same thing and I would not use the item if I were you just to be safe because modded biomes have real bad generation sometimes.

Sorry to bump this back up but what is the name of the item that spawns the calamity biome? I've been looking all over the place but I can't seem to find anything, was it removed?

It didn't generate ANYTHING in my world... There is just an empty space on the far left of my underworld. I thought it would be filled after defeating Calamitas but nothing happened, and there's no more Calamity forums in Terraria site, cause mod's creator was banned for a month. Any help???

i dont know but i explored my entire hell and havent founeded it, so ima try and fight calamitas

Nightmare, it's pobably a bug which caused your world to not generate profaned crags or deleted them. Some people tell that this happens sometimes when you have your world connected to cloud, so make sure to not connect world to cloud. There's no other solution than creating a new world, because i asked mod creator and he didn't return an item to game, which allowed to create profaned crags...
