how to invite players to team

i cant use wormhole ption becouse were not in the same party how do i do that?

Press the button that opens your inventory. On the left of your equipment slot, there should be a bunch of shields. Click a colored shield to change to that team. Tell your friends to click the same shield you did.

is it only me or can i not find these shields
did they recently remove them or is it something on my end
