How to Become a Better House Builder.
I have been trying out some diffrent things on houses. But, it seems that I am never setisfied with them! I try adding diffrent shaped rooms that could seem great in a real house, but I really cant think of any type of building I can build that is better and could serve more needs.

Anybody want to help me out and maybe lead me to a few videos or guides that could help me become a better builder?

Add me.
I've found the easiest way to make nice-looking houses is to vary your walls. Not your blocks, your walls.

For instance, if I want a simple Wooden Cabin, I'll get some Wood Walls (dur), maybe some Ebonwood Walls, some Glass, some Stone Brick Wall for the base, maybe some Wooden Beams...

... and I'll use Wood as the main "block."

I built a small building (seven rooms or so) using Ice Bricks as the main wall and Frozen Brick Walls, Snow Brick Walls, some Boreal Wood Walls, some Glass Walls, and some Boreal Wood Fences for outside. But Ice Bricks was the main block.

Also cram your houses with bookcases / shelving / pots / item frames / weapon racks / interesting bits of furniture. Bonus points for putting up items and weapons that dropped while you were building :steammocking:

TL;DR, you need a varied palette of blocks to introduce variety and color into your builds. Add as much furniture and wall decoration as possible to add detail. Vary your choices so you have pleasing colors with slight contrast to break it up.

Nonononononononono! You need a varied palette of walls.
