Best single player map size?
I read somewhere that its best to play singleplayer in small worlds because its supposed to be generally easier for just one player to get things done but a lot of the small worlds ive tried either have very few biomes between coruptions (I had a world with just a small ammount of sand, some normal grass, and some ice and thats it)

I'm definitely not gonna play small anymore but is it better to use medium or large? I heard its a hassle to use large worlds when you dont have mobility gear but I dont want to bring my character from small world with gear into a new world. I don't care about how much time it takes to finish the game but I dont want things to take unreasonably long just because of map size.

Unless you go to the ocean very often for fishing ect, i would choose large world. Also large ones are better because they have more sky islands which could be a great bonus near the start if you get lucky.
