just a question about the master ninja gear

when you dash, are you able to dash through enemies without taking damage? or do you take damage yourself if you do that? also, what happens when you have the shield of cuthulu and the tabi, or master ninja gear in your accessories? can you double dash? you experienced players out there, share us your knowledge of eternal terraria

Shield of Cuthulu negates the Tabi effect, while using the tabi itself doesnt give you any immunity

oh well that sucks, i wished they make it so your invulnerable or 100% miss chance when you are dashing, going through enemeis and slashing, this is basicaly a downgraded version of shield of cuthulu, why can't they just make it cooler? cooler then this ninja downgrade piece of... black cloth

MNG still give you an 10% dodge chance, permanent dash and wall-climbing, but since melee got Solar-Dash, Magic & Summon are DPS-beasts Ranged is the only class where it is quite useful, but its an great utility item!
achso, immunity while dashing would simply be completly overpowerded

I have actually found that the dash ability is extremely useful fighting the Pumpking and good for evading the Moon Lord's homing shots, although the wall climbing is pretty much worthless and the pumpkin moon is not worth bothering with after 1.3 really.

I've found the wall climb useful on occasion when I'm just using it as a quick wall grab to reset flight time, but other than that and a few fancy evasive maneuvers, not much other use to it. The dodge chance and the dash are both very good for avoiding damage in expert mode though. Personally the reason why I feel the MNG dash is the superior of the options is that it lets you dash out of or through enemies when combined with knockback immunity, allowing you to run through a crowd of enemies that have you cornered rather than hitting the first one and bouncing backwards.

You can grab on, and then jump, holding the key towards the wall, effectively allowing you to hop up walls.
