Strange blue glowing mob?

I was exploring a chasm I found on my character, when I found what I thought to be a mushroom biome, but it was too close to the surface. It was glowing blue. I magic mirrored away, due to me having pumpkin armor ( NOT PREPARED ) and when I came back. It was GONE. My guess would be that there was a glowing blue mob down there. But I don't know a mob that could be. A guess could be Undead miner, but I don't think they glow blue. Any guesses? I am pre-hardmode.

it would probobally be a mushroom you saw

Yes, thank you man. I found a bunch of water. I am just glad it wasn't a mushroom biome :D

I like to think that this guy forgot what a jellyfish was called and thought about making this thread... lol no offense as this is obviously not the case as anyone would just google it lol.

just look at the wiki. It has a list of all mobs that can spawn in the game.
