(Work In Progress) Desert-Wasteland Terraria Roleplay

First and Foremost, Welcome, I see you've stumbled onto this Thread, Discussion, whatever you might happen to call it.

Anyway, Concerning the details, Although it's not finished as of right now, I'm currently working on a Mad-Max/Fallout type map for Terraria. As you might be able to discern from the Title of this discussion, It's going to be used for Roleplaying purposes. (As a side note, I need builders to help me build on this thing, I'd like a new perspective on it)

Map Name: The Yellow Sea (Yes, it's a spin-off of Fallout's "The Glowing Sea" )

Size: I have no idea. It's pretty big I suppose.

Composition: It's literally just hardened sand and ruined, half buried buildings in the sand everywhere, with a few buildings in the backround sticking out of the sand. I used Tedit to do this so far, otherwise It'd take me about 12 years to replace the map with sand. Anyway, the buildings have chests scattered around in them with good, realistic loot inside. I.E Shotguns, UZI's Handguns, food, water, etc.

Due to the fact this is a Roleplay, and not one of those really cringy, horribly written ones, (You know the ones I'm talking about.) I'd prefer if you could post a few details about your character who will be joining. (When the map's finished anyway) I dont need a huge-ass bio and tiny intricate details on it, I just want the basic Name, Age, General personality, etc etc. I'm sure we'll all figure out the personal quirks and details later in the game, because it'd actually ruin the fun of learning them for ourselves if you just blurted them out here. You can bring Vanity items, but for the sake of immersion, keep it realistic, it's preffered to have dirty, grime covered, worn looking clothes. But due to Terraria's rather limited clothing scheme in that area, it's up to you. But please, use common sense.

Now that that's out of the way, allow me to post some Lore I guess. Because what Roleplay is complete without a nice Lore behind it?

Lore: In the year 2049, Scientists devised a "Pure Fusion" weapon capable of destroying large areas, while limiting radioactive fallout in the affected zones, however, the massive amount of Neutrons released in the blasts in the upcoming tests of these weapons proved fatal for any life in the immediate area. These weapons, the first of which named "Johnny Franklin" was tested underground in the Mojave Desert, NV. Soon after this event, the Russian Federation caught wind of what was stirring up on American soil. And soon followed with their own Fusion weaponry. Codenamed: "The Type 72" These weapons did not meet the criteria for "Weapons of Mass Destruction" in the fine lines of the various treaties and contracts signed between the two powers, and as such, were eventually used in the scattered proxy wars that each country supported. China began progress of their own Fusion weaponry in the year 2053, but was subsequently struck down by Russia's own Type 72's on major research facilities. Prompting a large scale war between the two parties. The U.S eventually intervened with their Johnny Franklins, The new "Planet Cracker" missiles, and an arsenal of conventional nuclear and ballistic missile weaponry to halt advancing Russian forces in Chinese territory. This inevitably sparked a massive nuclear retaliation from the Russian "Dead Hand" system when Chinese forces activated an unused nuclear land mine on the border between Russian and Chinese territory, lying dormant since the Cold War. As the spears of death and destruction rained down from the skies, Russian and American leaders were evacuated to designated "C.O.G" bunkers to ensure the survival of their respective countries. By 2057, the entire majority of the northern hemisphere of the globe was rendered mostly uninhabitable. The President was then relocated to Willingston, NV, as the area there was relatively shielded from the blasts. However, the fierce winds and firestorms caused by the nearby impacts in Las Vegas and Phoenix caused massive dust storms that completely engulfed the city in the midst of it's evacuation process. The city is now a barren wasteland. The treasures of the old world lying in the shadows, waiting for the survivors of the "Great Mushroom War" to reclaim them.

I'm not sure on how many people I'd like to have on here, I guess it depends on how popular this gets. As mentioned above, i'd like some builders on here to help me get a good perspective on this, new building styles, etc.

Also, I probally should have mentioned this earlier but, I'm not keen on accepting absoloute idiots into the RP. Call me a picky, choosy, eliteist, whatever you want, but I want this thing to be at least a tad professional in it's making. Not full of people griefing, asking for random stuff, and all that lot.
