Favorite building block to use?

what's yall's go to block when it comes to building anything? Personally i try to stick to stone due to its availability and versatility (although i use mostly stone and stone wall)

I'd have to go with Stone Slabs. I can make Office Buildings, Missile Silos, Bunkers, Pillboxes, and tons of other stuff with them. It's the best multi-purpose block I know of.

Stone Slabs or grey bricks are always my go to. Basements, bridges, sectioning off corrupted areas.

Demonite bricks, got a neat brick texture and looks shiny

IMO no single block is better than another to use in building, variety is key. My favorite combination would have to be Sandstone Brick, Smooth Granite, and Rich Mahogany Leaves, with more Smooth Granite and Squiggles Wallpaper as the wall.

also they're easy to craft/get as you can just grind the WoF for its drops and the demonite or crimson blocks it places the drops in

Snow Bricks, and Ice Bricks, helped make a damn snow castle one time it was awesome, though I did most of the outline and the other guy just filled it in, they did a good job I did a bad one XD

true, everyone seems to ignore the snow biomes when it can easily be one of the best biomes to build anything since most low tier mobs spawn there.

Its not really that we just really loved the idea of an ice castle and the place was basically asking to be built with the Terrain we got, this was all in a legit world XD
