moving to cloud?

hey folks im sorry if this might be a stupid question but im totally unfamiliar with this..

well ill be staying at a friends house this weekend but id like to play my own terraria world and character from his pc.

now my question is, if i move the char and world to the cloud, will i be able to play it from anywhere with access to terraria and my steam account??

i dont own terraria myself, i am playing it through game sharing on steam, but that wont be a problem right?

It shouldn't. Just keep in mind that Steam Cloud is known to leave your files somewhat... corrupted.

okay, i dont want to get my char corrupted, so would it also be possible to save the character and world onto a usb stick and just "add" them to my friends save files?

Yes. Yes, you can. Documents>my games>Terraria.

You're welcome. If you want to use the Cloud anyway I recommend keeping offline backups.

...on second thought, make regular backups anyway.

btw, would you mind to suggest some good hardmode weapons that are fairly easy to get?

Amarok or Hel-Fire yo-yos are good for melee. Simply grind enemies in the snow biome or underworld. The Amarok is slightly better and has a higher drop rate, but the underworld doesn't contain Hardmode enemies yet.

You can craft a minion staff and a sentry staff from spider fangs, obtained from Black Recluses (spider caves) if you feel like fighting them. They come with an armour set as well.

Water Bolts and Space Guns hold up well for magic damage, at least until you can craft a Crystal Storm. That's all I can think of right now.

ah, now i got something to farm for :) thanks, i think that minion staff sounds nice since id like to be magician but i dont find any good staffs. but maybe this is just me being newb :)
