i am doing one of the anglers fishing quests.. and it seems i have to go into thesnow biome to catch some fishron fish... how far down do i go to catch the fish?

A simple Google search will tell you:
"A Tundra is a vast, flat, treeless Arctic region of Europe, Asia, and North America in which the subsoil is permanently frozen."

In other words, it's the snow biome.
