"A new guard page for the stack cannot be created"
I've tried (Nearly) everything but nothing has seemed to work, any ideas as to what can prevent and or stop this annoying bug/glitch from happening? Anything would be good (And if u want to post some damn dank memes to cheer me up)

I'm assuming this means "stack" as in memory?
Because if so, this may be a stack overflow error, meaning your memory is being completely used up.

Hmmm no
Not right now

When do you get this error? When you Launch Terraria?

Also, I searched a bit and it is indeed a stack overflow error.
Try reading through this forum[stackoverflow.com] to see if it helps.

Have you run tried the terracustom as admin? (Also why are you using that?)

Getting this issue a year later, yay I see no one has figured out a way to fix it :/ my terraria days might be over..

I do believe running the terraria.exe file (as in the file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common) fixed my issue, sorry for not posting this a year earlier

i found a different fix, making a copy of the world and character files and using them seemed to fix it, or work around it

I am experiencing this issue too, I can uninstall and reinstall for 1 one time fix, and running as admin does nothing.

To fix this issue:

1. Right-click Terraria in your steam menu and click "Properties".
2. On the top bar in this tab go to "Local Files"
3. Then click "Browse Local Files".
4. Once you are in your Local Files, scroll down to "Terraria" and double click it. If you can't find it look for the Terraria that has "Application" under "Type" in detailed menu.
5. This worked for me. P.S you should also check for updates. Have fun playing!
