Right click hold doesn't buy fast from a vendor

It's been a while since i've played but you use to be able to buy things like torches from a vendor and you could hold right click and it would zip up to 99 count and you could buy it. Now it seems i have to click for every one i want to buy. Am i missing something or is this a bug?

You should still be able to hold right-click (or it might be left-click, it's one of those things you never bother about :P) for spam-buying items. It may be laggy on some computers, and some items don't stack (e.g. from the Merchant, Sickles don't stack. But stuff like Torches does).

I did a fresh install and everything and i'm still having this issue. Has anyone else run into this? Do i need to enable some setting to get the right click hold fast buying to work? I don't remember having to do that before but it's been a long time.

Normally it should just work.

The item you're buying needs to be stackable. Aside from that maybe check preferences and control settings to see if you accidentally removed right click somewhere (not sure that's even possible) and maybe reset controls to default.

I assume your right click works normally on desktop/other programs ?

yeah right click on my mouse works everywhere else including other games. I actually just wiped my system and started over (unrelated to this) so i did a fresh install and am still experiencing the same issue without making any changes in settings. I don't remember having to do anything special before but it's been patched a few times since and i didn't know if anything had changed.

I think it's left-click, not right-click.

Tried that too.. no go.. i can only buy 1 item like torches per click... kinda stumped.

That's really, really odd...

There is of course a delay - it's not hold right-click and instantly buy 999, it takes about a second for the game to realise "Oh, you wanna buy LOTS of them."

Try rebinding Left and Right click to something on the keyboard and pressing those...

Yeah so to clarify it is hold left click when i'm trying to buy a stack.. it use to wind up really fast to whatever the max for the stack was. Now it just buys one of whatever (torch for example) and that's it. I have to click again to buy 1 more. The bizarre thing is auto attack works.. so when I switch to my pick it just auto swings away when I hold left click.. it seems to just be buying from vendors that doesn't work.

Try turning frame skip off, I had the same problem and that fixed it. :)
