Minishark vs Phoenix blaster

The Phoenix blaster and Minishark are great weapons to fight off the Wall of Flesh and get into hardmode if you are going ranged. The speed of both weapons is incredible for both of them, however they in the other stats and abillities are very different. The minishark is autofire but has low damage and the phoenix blaster has high damage but no autofire. If you only had one ranged weapon to fight off the Wall of Flesh and it was your only weapon, which of the two would you select as your weapon and why. Leave your responses below.

phoenix blaster if you click fast it can be faster and have a better dps

I perfer the Phoenix Blaster, though you are required to click very rapidly to make a large differrence and such can be tiring or distracting.

However more than either of them I perfer the Hellwing Bow, it autofires and does a large sum of damage, though inaccurrate.

unlimited ammo with the meteor armor
never failed me when killing the WoF

but if i had to choose probably the mini shark, most hell enemies are immune to on fire debuff so phoniex blaster losses some of its usefulness, also you can focus more on dodging with the minishark

I'd go with Phoenix Blaster. It can get higher DPS if you click fast enough, and I just have a personal preference for semi-auto over a full auto gun in video-games.

I didn't even know that the phoenix blaster set fire to foes, there is another slight plus to it.

I didn't even know that the phoenix blaster set fire to foes, there is another slight plus to it.

all of you are stupid and its starting to annoy me first off its called a space gun not a lazar pistol its a mage weapon so not exactly "ammo" persay, the phoenix blaster doesnt set fire to enemies and says so right there on the wiki. and why even bring up the space gun a mage weapon its completely besides the point i personally think beenades are great against WoF but im not going to say that in a post abt ranger weapons. all in all just dont spread mis information around and make sure you know the facts first.
