why wont my plants blossom?

help, i've put planters around my npc homes to use the plant staff to harvest more plants as well as collect their seeds (binkroot waterleaf, all alchemy plants) but the thing is that while my binkroots and moonglows blossom, my fireblossoms, waterleaf, and deathweed plants don't wanna sprout. I could collec them with pickaxes, but then i wouldn't get as much nor would i get all the necessary seeds to replant them

also my shiverthorn winter plants dont wanna sprout either
i put them all in their perspective planters but nothings happeneing

Daybloom = Day
Blinkroot and Deathweed = Eventually
Shiverthorn = Certain time that I can't remember, but stays in bloom permanently afterwards.
Fireblossom = This finnicky plant doesn't work unless it's like 4:45 to 7:30, don't even farm it, jsut dig a hellevator and go there when you need it.

Waterleaf only blooms when it rains, and Deathweed only blooms during a Full Moon or a Blood Moon. Blinkroot blooming is completely random.

Waterleaf can bloom if submerged in water too.

Last time I checked, Fireblossoms bloom when submerged in lava.

They bloom during "sunset", 3:45-7:30 PM, only when it is not raining. Oddly specific.

Apparently Blinkroot is the fastest growing herb though, if you're lucky anyway.
