[Guide] How to downgrade to 1.3.4.4 (to play with Mods)
I posted this in a few other posts already.

1. Update your Terraria so that Steam doesnt want to update it anymore.
2. Get the 1.3.4.4 Files from the Internet. (Just google for it, i found it pretty fast).
3. Delete the files/folders inside your /steamapps/common/Terraria- Folder.
4. Insert the 1.3.4.4 Files/Folders
5. Add the files from T-Modloader like always.
6. Start Terraria.

Since Steam just updated Terraria it wont check till the next Steam-Restart or patch/hotfix.
Characters/Worlds/Mods WILL STAY INSTALLED even if you do this since all of them are in your Documents/MyGames/Terraria-Folder.

I did this pretty much all the time I had mods installed and didnt want to update Terraria.

If Steam updates your Terraria once you restart Steam etc just do the same thing again. As long as you dont actualy start 1.3.5 or smthing it should be fine.

Steam cencors the media fire-link. So if you need the files just add me, ill send you the link.

EDIT (IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE FILES):
The 1.3.4.4 Files are NOT MINE. I simply found them on the internet.
I played with them since the patch hit yesterday and have experienced no problems.
If you are "scared" of Maleware, Spyware or other things, dont be.
The .exe and most files get replaced by the T-Modloader-files anyways.

Will this patch let us use the addition on certain mods to change a world to expert?
In the current version it doesn't seem to work.
Nobody will pin this, all we can do is keep bumping it.

Isn't this technically downloading a pirate version for its files?
I am pretty sure there's a downgrade feature somewhere, can't remember what program, though.

There is no official downgrade feature anywhere, so all we can do is downloading the old files (or just keep an backup everytime before a patch. Since we bought the game and we dont use a torrent (thus not uploading the files) we have all the right in the world to do so.

EDIT: Also these files are purely to downgrade, they dont work without steam and owning the actual game, they are NOT cracked or anything, so its not like we are distributing a pirated version. ^^

I think you miss the point of downgrading to 1.3.4.4.
Most big mods are still not updated for 1.3.5
Even if tmodloader gets an update and works with 1.3.5+ it doesnt mean all the mods you where using 2 days ago will be working.

Its not illegal because the files dont work without steam.
Owning the game gives you the right to downgrade it since its not different from just keeping a backup of a lower version.
Illegal would be sharing the files if they are cracked or anything else that doesnt need you to own the game.
