Preeetty sure when a update is released it doesnt prevent you from playing tmodloader, it just downgrades it to the latest version it can use.

tmodloader will have to update before we can play terraria mods I just hope its soon you think they would have anticipated this update?

The Dev of TModloader already said it will take "some" time because stuff has changed.
If you want to continue playing with mods on 1.3.4.4 then just do as the following:

-Google for 1.3.4.4 Files (I found a download within a Youtube-Video)
-Delete all files in your /steamapps/common/Terraria - Folder
-Insert the downloaded 1.3.4.4 Files.
-Insert TModloader like always.
-Done

This wont delete saves or corrupt anything because Saves/Worlds AND Mods are stored in your documents/mygames/Terraria - Folder.
So dont worry.

The only issue you will have is that you wont be connected to the steam-servers so your friends need to connect via your IP.

PS: Just keep in mind that you will have to redo the deleting/inserting EVERY TIME you restart steam because steam will instantly update Terraria to 1.3.5 again if you restart Steam.
You can close/restart Terraria as many times as you like without it updating to 1.3.5 AS LONG AS YOU DONT CLOSE STEAM.

Not true, the game auto uninstalls itself because the version of the mod loader isn't up to date with vannila terraria

Doesn't work, the game forces updates to let you play even with auto-update disabled.

The developers made a compatibility patch for 1.3.5 that can be downloaded from here.[github.com]

Not if you shut off your Internet connection and launch the game directly from its .exe :P
