Bad parenting is.
Not even that nonsense about "Respecting The Elderly(TM)", but rather, don't act like a fool.
Calling games 'clones' of each other is only ok if they are actually the same game, with the only differences being color changes, and different names of items/abilities/etc.
For example, Candy Crush. There are a bunch of clones of that game, which I am sure you know of if you have a mobile device.
Minecraft is a first-person game, with a much better multiplayer system than Terraria; huge servers like Mineplex can hold thousands of players at a time. However, the vanilla game is somewhat bland, and is really only good anymore with mods, or other add-ons.
Terraria is a third-person game, in the second dimension. The multiplayer system, while being improved, is a lot more limited. You can't host more than 5 players without things getting a bit crazy.

The only real similarity between these games is that you use things that you craft to get resources to get more crafting materials to get stronger and stronger. Hundreds of games do this. It's just that these are the two most popular games(For the most part), so people try to defend what they like.

Oh your so right, undertale was good, before every 12 year old got on steam and started playing it...
I'm not the one, every 10 year old is.
*Note: the IQ of the terraria forums has gone down, while for some reason the starbound ones arent as bad, why?
