Terraria Graphics Glitch
I have been playing terraria on mac for a while now, but after a while when playing, the graphics in game begin to freak out, causing multiple areas of the screen to switch with other areas. This always happens after a random amount of time, but it happens between 30 minutes and 2 hours of playing. Is this my computer having problems?

Computer Specs:
Mac mini (Mid 2010)
Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256 MB
OS X El Capitan, Version 10.11.6

Game video settings:
Resolution: 1920x964
Parallax: 60
Frame Skip: On
Lighting: Retro
Multicore Lighting: off
Quality: Low
Background: On
Blood and Gore: On
Miner's Wobble: Enabled
Storm effects: disabled
Heat Distortion: disabled
Waves Quality: High

If you look closely at the screenshot, you can see slight errors in the textures. These flash on and off the screen when this happens. I always fix it by relaunching terraria, but they still come back.

DO NOT ASK ME TO REINSTALL THE GAME OR REBOOT MY COMPUTER. I have done this too many times to remember.

I can't tell much from your screenshot, but I'd double check your quality is actually on low and not auto. All the same, it may be a good idea to verify your cache quickly; you don't need to reinstall to do that.

I am for sure that the graphics are not on auto. I have also verified the cache, and there seems to be no problems. Oh and if you look at the trash can you can see the graphical glitch really well

If you click the image and pan around, you will notice many errors in the textures. This is the glitch I am talking about.

Oh gross, not what I was thinking about at all. I have no idea what would cause this, aside from corrupted files or graphics card issues, or possibly a mod but I doubt that.

I'd highly recommend posting this error here.[forums.terraria.org] It's much more likely to be reported and/or fixed there, given there are many more people looking there.
