Question regarding boat mini game / achivement

Hello im having a lot of problems trying to manouver the boat in the mini game of the boat , i cant manouver the boat all im playing currently with keyboard and mouse because i dont have a joystick , is the mini game this hard because im playing with keyboard and mouse? i didnt have any problems trough the game playing like this but this mini game is sooo hard to play with keyboard and mouse , does change playing that mini game with controller? i want the last 2 achivements tied up to the boat mini game z.z

sorry you're having trouble with the boat controls! they probably could be a bit more intuitive...

i'd recommend practicing a little bit to get a feel for it - when you hold the left arrow, the boat will turn (slowly) from it's current direction to face left. it might turn clockwise or counterclockwise depending on which way will reach left faster. it's not tank controls like some other games. you generally want to hold the direction you want to go - and try not to turn 180 really quickly.

you can also break / let go of acceleration to get around corners more precisely

in case you feel like tank-controls would make more sense to you, you can try them with a cheat:
type: "cheatsplz" to turn on cheats then "boatplz" to toggle tank controls

Already 100% the game yesterday , its very HARD to do this achivement with keyboard and mouse , changed to joystick and finished this achiv in less than 30 mins , im not going to complain a lot because i know a lot of games are better played with joystick but its almost impossible to beat that mini game in 45 seconds, to manouver the boat with K+S its impossible and very frustrating , like i said switched to joy and voila finished the game anyways thanks for answering and greetings from argentina
