Lost character data

I was playing S&S 3 during a storm and my power went out causing my computer to shut off, and when I turned it back on all my character (5 of them) were no longer there. Is there any way to get my data back or am I just screwed?

Bit late but for others u can try using Recuva to check if u can recover the save files or try this https://www.shadowexplorer.com/ to check if there's volume shadow copies of the save file(s). Also check if there's an automatic backup maybe u can restore the save files from there. Good idea is to do a manual or synced daily backup of the files just in case, especially if there's a storm going on and u live in a place where u lose electricity
