Adobe Air error

I keep getting an error from Adobe Air "This application has an invalid application descriptor. Try re-installing or contacting the publisher for assistance" anybody know how to fix this, the game was working fine the other day.

Same problem, bought the game last night and it worked good. Now it says it has an invalid application descriptor when i launch it.

Could you try this latest build for Mac ? (I don't currently have a Mac to test it on unfortunately!)

Just tried the new update on mac. It is now saying that there is a missing executable while updating, when i try to launch.

The fix for the Mac build is now live at long last - huge apologies for the delays. Expect another patch with some more S&S IV bugfixes in a day or two.

I'm a few years late here but the same problem just occurred. I downloaded S&S 2 Redux out of some nostalgia and hitting the same Adobe AIR error. I saw a couple other guys mention it in a different thread.

I'm on macOS Ventura, Apple M2 chip.

Hey im encountering the same issue with swords and sandals 2 redux. I cannot open the game as it says "This application has an invalid descriptor" Im running on mac.
