New patch is here

Check out the full patch notes below. Again, apologies for taking so long to get this patch up - had my hands full with S&S Crusader Redux, a new baby and of course , the hellscape of 2020! I really hope this patch improves the games for you - it doesn't fix everything but I'll keep patching the games over the months as I work out the issues they have.

Hey,
Not able to equip my bow while in combat on SS 2. Visually the character swop to the bow, but still only got melee attack options. Worked fine yesterday, so could be related to the patch I guess. Or is it a known bug?

Hello, I noticed that in the patch for S&S 4 it says" Every gladiator now levels up when completing a board game, no matter what position you finished in." To test this I played a couple matches with 2 human players and both times still only the main character could level up and use the shop but not the other character, making this false.

I also was wondering if you could enable the remote play together feature on the collection so I can play hotseat swords and sandals IV with my friends.

Hi Wilson - okay yeah so at the moment still only the first player ( the primary player) can level up. I'll revisit this when I can.

I've also turned on the REMOTE PLAY option ( this will of course only really work with S&S IV , being the only hotseat multiplayer game in the collection. Let me know if it works for you!

Thanks for the response to my feedback! Excited to try out remote play tomorrow with my friend. I'll post a screenshot or video of it if we can get it to work when we play

Thanks again for adding the remote play feature. My 3 friends and I played a match of S&S 4 with it and had an amazing time! The remote play feature works surprisingly well where another person can take over when its their turn. I was also wondering if there are any plans to do the redux treatment for swords and sandals 4. I would instantly purchase!

That's really cool, it's definitely a feature I never knew existed on Steam. I'll be making the next Swords and Sandals full multiplayer to take advantage! Enjoy your adventuring.
