PC from mobile versions?

I played this game on mobile without knowing it had a PC counterpart and really enjoyed it. Got all achievements there and all. What are the differences of the PC version? I heard there were some, but the reviews are...mixed, to put it lightly. Is it even worth it to get the PC version? Are the PC gimmicks that unpleasant? Any hopes for the game to integrate the best parts of both versions?

PC version has different mechanics, cards don't have cooldowns, instead you get multiple copies of cards and each copy is single use and dissapears once used.

Items work differently, they are passive as opposed to active items.
