Hola. Alguien que me pueda contstar en español? he instalado el parche seguido de haber instalado el juego pero cuando entro en multijugador, me sigue saleindo lo de direccionarme a eso.com. Cómo jugamos ahora online?

Who is actually in charge of these "news" disclaimers on steam? is it the ESOC community itself?

Would be nice then to also feature the allready in action "ESOC balance patch" for balanced civs/cards from the known tournaments here in the TAD news section so more people SEE and download it (together with the new multiplayer patch featured here).

This game is still great, doesnt need to die and if we as a community can influenece future multiplayer performance, by all means, lets do it.

I think this is MS announcement that was posted here on steam. So i dont think ESOC has something to do with the multiplayer patch. But if u wanna play ESOC patch, i think u can patch the ESOC launcher with this multiplayer one (not sure though u have to try and see). But i dont think its worth because the majority of esoc patch players moved to DE because the patch itself is incorporated into DE.

Just to clarify; ESOC Patch itself has had the domain issue already fixed for years and therefore it does not depend on the retired domain "eso.com" regardless of whether the manual patch from Microsoft is installed.

Ah i see. Well idk what to tell ya then. If u wanna play ESOC play on their servers. If u wanna play the OG balance install the MS multiplayer patch. Id suggest the second option because those are MS servers and most of the people that are left in this game in my opinion dont play esoc - the people who played esoc- keiserklein, aok, callen, and all the OG's moved to DE. And furthermore it a better option if u also play other mods like WoL, K&B, SoI etc that do not have their own dedicated servers. And if i remember correctly esoc patch has an option to switch between regular and esoc, so this patch will, in my opinion, affect only the regular aoe.exe.

Or a better option - i was stupid to uninstall he game and im sorry if u did uninstall and reinstall he game (if u have a slow internet), it just came to my mind that u can first force-recheck the data and if anything is corrupted it will be fixed. Another option is to manualy delete the aoe.exe,aoex.exe and aoey.exe files and give the game a recheck to download fresh ones. That would be the best fix. If that doesn not work (which idk why it wont work) then u can proceed with the uninstall. Its the aoe.exe files that is/are corrupted and need to be re-downloaded - thats the problem. @UltraBruh(TR)

yep. just the server that makes the data transfer has changed to alleviate the connection issues we had since forever like the well known dc's and out-of-syncs.

As u can see nobody from MS is responding your questions, but a random guy on the internet that wants to play with a better connection and not having 5000 ping if me an-European wanna play with a guy from New Zealand or Argentina. So u may consider this as a last improvement we get for the classic game from MS. I feel like MS should pay me for customer support gosh darnit.

what OS are you on, and what do u mean it doesnt work again. Like it doest start at all, it starts but its a black screen, its starts and it crashes etc. Explain me more mate so i can be able to help ya. @Daprisa
