Patch has been available for year though. It wasn't just needed as eso.com still worked. Microsoft doesn't control eso.com so they cannot decide when patch really is needed

They explain in the post that they don't have the ability to update the game. There's potentially an issue with old Steam repos that they may no longer have access to. This way, they don't run the risk of screwing up the game for everyone who has it installed already.

How about you dudes stop being stubborn and all install the patch - like half of the peeps have probably installed the patch and now there is even more division between this 500-600 players that prefer the classic. I installed the patch, per the instructions, on 31 August 2021. Since then I can't play with others, like 99% of the others. This patch works like a curse.....

I totally agree with this guy. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ patch your game so we end with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that has been from almost a year.

Thats because stubborn people dont wanna install the patch and u get CRC and cant get into a match because "its a different version of the game". Please for God'sake, yall install that stupid patch once and for all so we end this, like my guy @Ivorydsjunior said.

uninstall and reinstall the game. it was giving me an error too. just re-download the game and u good. @UltraBruh(TR)

They put the patch out. The "THEY" that need to fix the CRC's are us, installing the patch. Because when u install the patch, u get CRC with the people that dont have the patch and want to use the ANCIENT ESO server with up to 500+ ping. Its the players that need to just instal the patch and = no CRC's. We are the "THEY".
