Invalid CD Key

When I try to sign up online the system says my CD key is invalid, but the game was purchased recently.
What to do?

It's because it's they run out of valid keys, MS needs to activate newly ones generated by steam, happens on every bigger sale

Yes, try again after sale ends for examble. ofc you can refund the game if it isn't fixed before your refund time ends (14 days from buying or 2 hours playtime)

Note that you need to make account in base game, not in asian dynasties or warchief. after account is created always play asian dynasties for all civs
