CRC mismatch in asian dynasties multiplayer

why is there crc mismatch showing whenever I try to join a multiplayer game??

It means those players are using a different version of the game.
If you're getting it with all players, try verifying file integrity of your game through Steam.

thanks. checked it now it says 3 files failed to verify and those file will be reaccuired. now what to do?

Let Steam reacquire them. Then start the game and it should work.

Thanks a lot. CRC mismatch is gone but nowit shows failed to join game whenever I try to join. Saw a video on yt that suggested to turn the vpn on. Hope it works
