how to fix age of empires 3 red x error
so what i have done that worked for me is i went to the steam age of empires 3:CC folder, msxml folder.
then just ran the troubleshoot on msxml4-KB954430-enu. i ran the install 4.0 then just to be safe i ran the repair as well.
hope this helps others as it did for me since this is a known issue

Should be fixed by installing MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 3

For tips for others then include exactly whats needed to fix it, even tho search feature give several results with this fix.
