How to play DLCs?

Hello I just downloaded the game Age of Empires 3: complete collection, now i have on my desktop an icon "Age of EMpires 3: complete collection" but when I start it there's only the default civilizations. No war chiefs or asian, I'm not sure how to fix it. Thank you : )

Right click the game in your library on the left hand side. You will then see the options for the War chiefs and Asian Dynasties. If you just click play it will always load the base game.

If you click Play from your Library, it should have a popup option at the launcher asking which version of the game you would like to play. Select Asian Dynasties and not Complete Collection. Somebody really screwed up naming the base game "Complete Collection".

It should have been called Vanilla as this is what most people call it. who plays vanilla anyway? only nilla scrubs who cant move on !
