Can we please get an FPS limiter?

I love to play Wingspan on my Windows Surface, but it really drains the battery hard. The animations are really beautiful, but if we could limit the fps to like 20 or 30, all Notebooks and Laptops would get much more Wingspan playtime out of one battery charge.

Can't you limit this in settings on the notebook? Because even though on a desktop I have absolutely no intention of limiting FPS on any game, I do know for a fact I can set it in the Nvidia Control Panel if I wanted to.

It's just an Intel integrated video card in a Surface Pro and the only options I have are forced AA, AF and VSync. Vsync would be an obvious option if Wingspan wasn't vsynced already.

Wingspan runs at 30 fps by default, with Vsync on or even off in its settings. There have been threads in the past on how to run it at 60 fps, the solution is to use Nvidia or AMD settings to run it at 60 fps. I can't vouch this for all displays but this is how Wingspan runs by default on 60 Hz displays- at 30 fps, and also how I prefer it.

Suggest the OP enable Steam's FPS counter and verify for themselves the fps the game runs at.
