A good way to start online as an amateur is choosing 'Automa', because the 'online Automa' has all expansions by default, whereas the 'offline Automa' will not (in the case you don't own those).
If people knew that Automa lets you play "alone" with yourself, skipping turns very quickly, they would never click to "start 5 min. game" (when online) instantly! 🙄
I'm sure someone can appreciate the oceana mechanics more if he knows the game without it later
There's enough in base to keep you occupied for quite a few games as there is quite a large variety of birds, even if many share or have similar card powers. The game doesn't really change mechanically by buying expansions; it just increases the variety within the base mechanics, if that makes sense?
I'd recommend it!
Also the benefit s f getting the base game first.
Brilliant help. 👍🏻
And thank you also marttini7 for the info on online Automa. this was info for me buying it for my niece. But I know she would be playing it single player, offline.
But Again, I really appreciate the suggestion.
