Feature Request: Mark Unused Cards

Hello,

I'd like to suggest that cards that have never been played before receive a subtle clue that they have not been played. I'm trying to fill out my list of birds but I'm never sure if I've played a card before or if it is the first time.

That would be nice. I already cleared that achievement, but I had to use a third-party card list plus an awkward notepad document, which is really very clunky.

Incidentally, @OP, the full card listings are available on Boardgamegeek (requires a free sign-up) so you can get the list and cross-check vs your listing on Wingspan.

Maybe it could be a slight outline on the card.

You can set audio descriptions to only play for new cards, but I'm not sure if that's per game.

Don't they already mark one of the top corners of some cards for some other reason? My guess was that the original birds chosen at the start of a game where the ones being marked at top. That would be of some value, but I'd rather have the unplayed cards marked pre-achievement. Already played cards should not be marked. That way when you get the achievement the markings are gone.

Edit: After playing another game I can confidently say that the corner marking is not for all birds in the starting hand. Only the raptor in my opening hand was marked (I have already played it). So maybe the mark is for raptors?

Update: The grey marking on the top left corner of the cards is definitely not for raptors or unplayed cards. I cannot figure out what it represents.

In the physical board game, some of the cards are marked so that you know you're supposed to use them when playing a tutorial round for new players. Maybe that's a carryover into this game? I do agree that it is odd, though, and would be more sensible to mark unplayed bird cards instead.

Yes, please. Anything that tells you that you haven't played a card. I hope the devs add this feature in a future update before they release the expansions.

I'd also like this, though technically an awkward third party list and a notepad feels very bird watchery.
