This might sound like a not-needed comment, but I assure you it is.
Fable 3 already has difficulty running on a real computer. If you want the best quality and gameplay, as well as support, I suggest playing it on a Computer or Console.

Try running in Desktop mode first and then switch back.
There's a few more fixes floating around, but I highly suggest playing the game on something other than a Steam Deck. At it's current price and limited support as well as steam making users themselves actually fix their console it's best to avoid Steam Deck for games, such as Fable 3, that already have enormous amounts of issues on Console/Computers.
