Main Game Missing !?

After i got a new computer, i tried to start Fable 3 because i felt like playing it. GFWL Log In screen showing up, logging in, everything seems normal. Suddenly the message that i am missing content to play the game shows up. I click the download button and all the games dlc show up. Everything is marked as "owned", except for the main game Fable 3. Are you f***ing kidding me? The main game is missing of a game that i already played many times before on this account. And i can't use my keys to unlock it because it says they are wrong or already in use. I can't get support from GFWL because they shut down, i can't get support from Steam because its not in their shop anymore and i can' get support from xBox or Microsoft because of f*ck you too, customer. Great.

Now as my last hope for ever playing Fable 3 again, without purchasing it again, i come to the forums. I am hoping like a mad man, that somebody of you all has a solution.

I have the same issue. After a reinstallation of my OS Windows LIVE says that I do not own the main game and not two of the DLCs (dog suit and industrial knights suit) I owned before the reinstall. In the end I am unable to restore my save file and it is the second time I wasted hours on this game just to lose again all the saves.

What do you see when you look in the folder fable 3 is installed in?

Actually you CAN get support for gfwl. It's the Games for Windows MARKETPLACE that is being shut down. Everyone seems to get confused about this.

This is common, and I got messed up on this at first. It does not help that most websites seem to just say GFWL, and don't specify market only.

I deinstalled it in order to reinstall, but i haven't done it yet. It could take some time to answer your question, for i have to download everything again.

i had the missing content too i just kept canceling until it thought my savegame was corrupt
game still runs fine and the dlc i had where mostly crap anyway

The Game seems to be all there. What size is the data folder?
Can you try running FableLauncher?

Where are you looking to to see that everything is owned except for the main game?
If you are looking at the properties page for Fable 3 in Steam under DLC I doubt that page ever shows the main game.

The folder is 13,2 GB and you're right. It doesn't schow in the DLC page.
Somehow was able to start anyway, like Stexred said.
It does bother me a lot how companies make a game and after a few years they just cancel vital parts of support and partially abandon the game. Same happened to me with C&C 4, the servers aren't available anymore so you cannot play the game at all.

Ya only DLC will show up under the DLC tab. I don't think you get the game to show up in your library unless you own the base game.

I do own the base game, i bought it on steam afterall.

Problem is that the ingame window for GFWL won't show that i have the base game, but all the DLC.

The game displays only in my STEAM, and the GFWL only displays the DLCs.
Where did u bought the game? Steam?

Yes, but i tried what Stexred said and now the game works again. Of course all the savegames are lost but that doesn't matter.
