[Minor Spoilers] Can I have all the dogs?

We made it to the cabin...





And the game isn't over! I have an option to adopt new dogs, but the musher says "This will be a tough decision" and sets me up to choose one of my existing dogs. Does this mean I need to give up on one of the dogs who got me here before I can get a new dog? Or can I have ALL THE DOGS??

You can have all the dogs. You just leave one behind the cabin each time so you can put the new pup at the leaf for the journey back home
