No mouse pointer.

Thanks to the suggestions from people on these bords i can now start the game.

But when i do i have no mouse pointer.

I can se the menu and the intro movie keeps on playing in the background, but i cant press anything and i have no mouse pointer.

I have installed the PhysX legacy drivers, used the 4gb patch and i am running the game in WindowsXP compability mode (i have tried several different versions of compability).

Do anyone have any suggestions to fix this problem?

My operating system is windows 8.

EDIT:
I got it to run in windowed mode (just add "fullscreen-false" in the launch options) but i stil cannot get the mouse pointer to work in fullscreen, it seems to get stuck in a corner and wont move.

u will then run in windowd mode in whats closest to 1920x1080 and u will have the pointer back again
