Air Dashing?
Can anyone tell me if air dashing is available as an upgrade in the game? (Like being able to initiate a dash with horizontal movement while you are falling, jumping, etc.) I keep wanting to do it. It seems like it would feel right. Maybe it would break too many of the obstacle challenges? But the chainsaw grapple already kind of has the same effect as far as those go... I don't know, just something I've been thinking about while I've been playing and I know it's still in development so I thought I would throw my thoughts out there. Thanks for the rad game - keep it up!

Awesome! Thanks for replying! I'm really looking forward to unlocking that and continuing to play as the game develops.

Yeah after playing Doom Eternal the dashing in this game feels pretty bad. It seems to be extremly unresponsive

Extremely unresponsive? What do you mean?

I think there should be a audio cue when the dash is ready. Maybe even a screenflash. When i use the dash it feels more like iam sliding on ice if that makes sense. In doom eternal for example dashing is short and fast.

There's an audio cue when dash is ready. Kind of a bell sound. There's also an icon on the right of the screen that counts down until your next dash. The icon is kind of hard to see though. The dash in NR is different from Eternal. In Eternal, it nullifies your velocity after it's done, but in NR, it doesn't and you can use that to do things that you can't do in Eternal. Also, there are several upgrades for the dash in NR like faster dashing and less time between dashes. Dashing is something that gets better with time, like everything in the game really. You start weak, but then you become stronger.
