No mug trash secret

i put all the mugs i found into seperate trash bins in the hospital and nothing happend
why even have trash bins or interactable things if the walls dont swallow me whole for trashing the mugs into the bins come on

I was playing around being a doofus and figured out you could toss the mugs into the bins too. At my current point there were three mugs and three bins. I thought 'Why not?' nothing happened, but I still laughed childishly to myself at having spent time doing something so inane. I even threw it onto the sink and toilet to see if it would wash given the mop and bucket mechanic.

Will the dirty mug in a video game become clean? These are the questions stupid people like me ask themselves...
