Give weapon ideas for episode 2!
Ok, so we're going to add 24 new weapons in episode 2. Around 5 level 1s, 6 level 2s and 13 level 3s. We have SO MANY ideas for new guns, but we figured that you guys would enjoy it if we put a bunch of your ideas in the game. Now's the time!

First of all, there's three ammo types. I need a balanced variety of guns that use either light, heavy or magic ammo or a combination of those. Don't forget weapons that don't use ammo too, but those are usually a bit weaker or have a flaw, like melee weapons having limited range.

Level 1s are common in episode 1 and you can keep one at level end. They work ok, but are a bit weak near the end of episode 1 and will be much weaker against episode 2 enemies.

Level 2s are a bit rare in episode 1, but can always be found in treasure rooms. They'll become your bread and butter in episode 2 as soon as you get the node to keep level 2 weapons. Level 2s are just good weapons with a good balance of damage and ammo usage.

Level 3s are a new weapon level only found rarely in episode 2. These weapons are simply awesome and have few flaws. They tend to use more ammo than level 2s though.

I've got 4 ideas for weapons.

Idea 1 : Beltfed Machinegun with Launcher. "name Pending"
Magazine Size - 60-75 (x2 bullet ammo consumption)
Primary fire - Spews bullets at a decent pace.
Secondary - Fires a Cluster Grenade, at 1 to 2 Heavy Ammo
Reload speed - 3-4 seconds
"the initial grenade splits of into 4 mini bombs after it's initial explosion"

It's meant to be better than the Demolition Rifle with a magazine size that is sort of in line with the minigun. All the while being a bit more powerful than the DR. "Level 3"

Idea 2 : Railgun
Magazine size - 1 "x2 Heavy Ammo consumption"
Primary Fire - Fires a Magnetised slug at high velocity
"Pierces up to 4 enemies before the slug explodes dealing low-medium AOE damage"
Secondary - Use a scope.
Reload Speed - 2 seconds

This is directly meant to be the next step up from the sniper rifles. Instead of expecting massive amounts of bullet ammo for a single shot, it would instead benefit greatly from using the heavy ammo pool. since that pool is far more limited than the Bullet ammo. Making it more viable if you want to use something like a shotgun weapon or a rapid fire bullet weapon. "Level 3"

Idea 3 : Energy Rifle.
Magazine size - 25 "Uses magic ammo"
Primary fire - Fires a bolt of condensed magic energy
"Has a minor AOE"
Secondary - Unleashes 5 Bolts in a 40 degree arc at the cost of 5 ammo.
" Best used in close range "
Reload Speed - 1.5 seconds

The game lacks that Plasma/Energy gun in the arsenal, It brings this kind of fun to the game but with a magical twist. It functions like a Plasma Gun from the old school shooters being the better suppression weapon, it's probably bet suited for a level 2 drop.

It's the bastard child of the Gem Staff and a Machine gun, also Magic needs a bit more love.

Idea 4 : Meteor Spell
Ammo Consumption - 6 per use
Primary Fire - Lobs a meteor like a flaming magic grenade, explodes into a pool of fire.
"Explodes on contact, Don't be close to it"
Secondary - FLAMETHROWER.
"Self explanatory, Drains magic quite quickly, kills even quicker"

It's just a Level 3 fire spell. It makes things die.

A full auto shotgun
~trade-off a less pellets per shot for all your rounds in 1 reload.
~ADS probs.

Some kind of weapon that deploys hands that crawl along the ground to attack random enemies (think snarks but they die after 10 seconds), design-wise maybe looks like a bird cage or a Necronomicon-like book.
~Secondary fire expends some magic to focus all hands on one enemy.

just a flamethrower

brass knuckles so we can punch things

Sawblade launcher that launches sawblades that ricochet of walls and bounce everywhere

a spinny barrel minigun that is also a shotgun. burns all your ammo but deletes everything at close range

A new bow that fires magic arrows that chain between enemies

a shield to smash and stunlock things with, or to block projectiles wich also makes you slow

pinapple pizza frisbee (poisons enemies and forces them to vomit wich poisons other enemies)

magic hammer that freezes enemies that then can shatter them

a staff similar to the poison one but it shoots lava that sets stuff on fire and that deals more damage

laser beam that when held on a spot for a second or two a fist comes from the ceiling and smashes that spot

medieval flail. you mash attack and it spins faster. the faster it goes the more damage. if you stop spinning you might hit yourself

being able to kick enemies when dashing a them and having that deal bonus damage

a claw with a chain that can be thrown at enemies to tear out chunks. critical hits tear out hearts or the head and the gore can be thrown back at enemies for extra damage.

just a whole 130mm c-70 cannon. can be used as giant club or as cannon to explode things with :ducky:

AK-47/74/M, why over-complicate things when you dont have the basics? If you have an M16 in your game, you also need an AK.

I posted this on Twitter, but in case those submissions aren't considered:

An M-60 as a Level 2 weapon. Large clip size, but accuracy is pretty bad during sustained fire, and the reload takes a significant amount of time.

Here are my ideas:

MELEE

Skull: Nothing special, just a human skull you can beat enemies with.

LIGHT AMMO

Fully automatic shotgun 'Street Sweeper' (Level 2)

Chainsaw Launcher 'Razor Sharp': Basically just throws a chainsaw at enemies like a grenade launcher (Level 2)

MAGIC

Beating heart 'True Love': When used, all enemies in range are damaged (Weaker enemies die, beefer enemies take a huge chunk of damage) (Level 2)

Scythes 'Reaper': Throw mini Scythes that home in on enemies (Level 2)

Gravity Orb 'Main Attraction': Throws like a grenade and sucks nearby enemies in for a period of time (Level 3)

Golden Cryo Gun: Freezes enemies into solid gold that drops twice the amount of money than they normally would when killed (Level 3)

POWER-UPS

Ghost Twin: Enemies will focus on the Ghost and ignore you unless you attack them or get too close

chicken paste Sep 26, 2019 @ 2:35am
Sawblade launcher and flamethrower
Chainsaw rifle, with an underslung chainsaw that does melee when not fired. But when fired it takes the chain bits and fires them.
Sundowner Sep 26, 2019 @ 6:12am
Book of Allies: primary fire turns an enemy into an ally that attacks enemies and draws a bit of aggro, secondary fire explodes all allies for moderate damage.

I would love to see something like MW2s G18 Akimbo

-Dual-Wield automatic Pistols

-Insane bulletoutput(so fast that 1 magazine empties in a couple of seconds)

-even more insane spread(you need to stand infront of an enemy to kill him with 1 magazine)

-Low damage per bullet(1 magazine should be barely enough to kill 2 enemies)

This weapon would be insanely fun with speed and reload speed perks, but difficult to control

Mindcontroller
Type: Melee spell, or syringe which consumes heavy/magic ammo?
Primary fire: The weapon damages an enemy as usual, but once the enemy's health reaches zero, it's converted to your ally instead of its death.
Secondary fire: All heads of converted enemies explode and cause AoE.

Hero's Sword and Shield
Type: Typical fantasy RPG or antique medieval-ish melee weapon
Primary fire: Swing the sword as an usual melee weapon.
Secondary fire: Place the shield at your front for a short period of time and invalidate any damage. After successfully defending, first primary fire is greatly buffed. Probably secondary fire needs a little long cooldown time.

M2 Browning or M60?
Type: Light ammo
Primary fire: High firepower but extremely low accuracy, so useless except for very close range.
Secondary fire: The girl becomes immobile and her PoV goes down to the ground. With the tripod and prone stance, fire rate and accuracy are improved.

Fighting Gloves
Type: Magic ammo
Passive: During active, kick action gets more high firepower and knockback in addition to usual kick skills.
Primary fire: If the target is close enough, punch it. Otherwise, charge to the target at high speed (or teleport as internal processing) and then punch. Maybe 0.5-1 sec cooldown and/or delay time?
Secondary fire: From her palms shoot large and relatively slow energy ball (explosive) caused by inner mental power. High firepower and knockback, but quite low fire rate.
ADD:
Only charging attack like Fire Ball Book.
Secondary fire (another idea): Grab an enemy, then after a moment, throw it to the direction of your LoS. You can change the throwing direction during the delay time. Thrown enemy and enemies hit by it take damage.
