There are a lot of games you can play went you just want to do some mindless zombie killing but out of all of those that have a Minecraft-type look to them - this is probably my favorite so far. If you're looking for a massive game filled with depth, this is not that game. But if you want a campaign that lasts quite a while for your dollar and supplies you with tons of mindless zombie killing fun, then I say pick up this game and shoot until they drop.

It's probably one of my biggest surprises of the year just because I went into it expecting to play it for 10 minutes and then never play it again. In truth, I couldn't STOP playing it. I literally played straight through the campaign all in one go. It's quite a bit longer than I thought it would be too. And I was genuinely interested in what little story there is. This game isn't going to win any awards or blow away critics but it does do exactly what it promises and not every game does that nowadays.

Good game setting but the gameplay as it is right now is kinda bad, the friendly AI is very stupid. You have to swap between them so that they can pick up weapons, cuz they can't do that on their own wich is anoying sometimes. Because when they don't have ammo for the weapon they have they don't use the other weapon with ammo for example.

The zombies or human enemies felt like sponges. It takes too much bullets to kill them. Even though I shot like 10 bullets into their skull and they don't die.

But overall I had a good time playing this game. Despite it being a 3$ game.

Don't buy this the game its plagued with game breaking bugs for instance the ai fell through the map atleast 4 times 3/5 they managed to get out other times i got softlocked.

Since they got downed and i couldn't revive them since they FELL THROUGH THE MAP so i had to restart twice not only does that happen zombies often stuck on walls or in walls.

And atleast 10 of the achievements don't even work DO NOT BUY THIS GAME IT IS Abandonware. Just don't even bother with this trash its just another asset flip disguised as a real game.

They most likely paid people to positively review this game also since its a literal mess of asset packs mashed together into one big train wreck. As another fun fact i decided to play defense mode as they call it.

When you end wave 15 which should be the end according the game it goes to start wave 16 but instead of something happening YOU GET STUCK AT 0. So YOU ARE YET AGAIN SOFTLOCKED.

I literally feel scammed for about 3 euros for buying this trash its not even that fun its repetitive as all hell JUST THE SAME ♥♥♥♥ DIFFERENT asset pack map.

The ai pathing must've been made by literal children because these ai's are actually useless. If they don't try to attack you they just run into walls and get stuck there these are one of the most brain dead ai systems i've seen ever.

VERY IRONIC THING I WAS RIGHT THIS GAME IS AN ASSET FLIP YOU CAN FIND LITERALLY THE FIRST MAP ASSET PACK ON UNITY asset STORE IF YOU SEARCH UP simple apocalypse made by synty studios i can probably find the rest by searching abit more but frankly im not gonna waste my time.

As a last note asset packs are okay but you have to make something yourself or change parts of the assets you buy just leaving them as is is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lazy. Fun fact all 4 main characters are just from the asset pack mentioned above so is every weapon.

Im glad this game never took off IT DESERVES FAILURE NOT SUCCESS I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS DEV AGAIN time to block this studio.

Simple game with Russian voices... Run and shoot, repeat... There is not much to this game, easy for kids to play! Like Minecraft with guns, but without the other stuff... Get it on sale..

I started a new short segment called "Lost on Steam" which features games that have few reviews for one reason or another. Definitely not necessarily negative, just games that slipped by people.

This is one of the featured games this week!

Zombies in City is a very cheap, and would be interesting game if it weren't for the difficulty curve. Do you mean it's too difficult Sonoket? No. No I don't. What I mean is that the game has absolutely no challenge at all to it. You have plenty of ammo, no risk of ever dying (unless you blow yourself up), the zombies are the slowest things I've ever seen... it's just all very disappointing.

Some things that I think could improve this game a LOT:

1) Make ammo more scarce. It's too easy just to go to town on zombies with no repercussions.
2) Make headshots do more damage. I couldn't see any difference when I played.
3) Make zombies FASTER as they are currently no threat to the player. I just side step them.

This is a pass for me for now. They could improve this game a lot in the future.
