End the campaign in ETW World Domination

Hi all,

I started a campaign as the United Provinces, conquered all the world, 137 provinces. Victory condition World Domination. I am the only nation left. Still the game isn't finished jet. It is the year 1783. Do I have to wait or something until it is 1799? Or is it a bug? Or did I just do something wrong? I don't get it guys..

At some point (usually after capturing 40 regions) a window pops up that says: You have met the victory conditions (fireworks ect.) and that you have to complete the game timeline (typically 1799) and still have captured 40 regions "to actually recieve that campaign victory". Even though you have mastered the world in 1783. You can sppeed through the rest of the turns to get the final gratification, it blows, but that's how it is.....

Haha well in the time between my original post and your replies I figured that out as well , but thx anyways ;) ETW still a great game, can't wait for ETW2! Kinda annoying how some things in battles glitch, how the AI sucks etc...

Try playing campaigns and battles on hard or very hard, I think you will then appreciate the game a bit more, forget about the game nuances and just enjoy the action....

Problem is some of us have already taken over the entire world and are just waiting for the game to end

Been there, done that! In it as it is: either quit the game or speed through the remaining turns to get your acclaimation, as far as I know, those are your only options to ending the scenario... That's why I suggested going hard, to make the scenario last longer.... Let's face it, there is not going to be anymore fixes to this game by CA, however there are mod options if you want....

You have to wait till 1799
