Best country to play as in grand campaign?

In your opinion, whats the best country to play as in the garnd campaign?

Holland (United Provinces), is the best faction to play, has regions in all three continents, has a good initial fleet and eliminated the Spaniards from Flanders you can 'easily become a military power.
P.S. better to have allies the Prussians (personal experience)

I really like playing Maratha Confederacy, if you can stave off the locals, and the British invasion a few years into things then no one bothers you in India again, you have a solid power base. After that take over America, the major powers still love you cause you don't have territorial expansion penalties to deal with. Then you hit Europe with Russia and Poland as long term allies and mop up western Europe. Its a nice little counter history.

Austria has the best cavalry in the game if you don't count elephants in it. otherwise probably Mughal Empire wins the race.

Prussia, if you are quick and take over Austria and accept the alliance offer that inevitably comes from Poland, make an alliance with the Ottoman empire and theres pretty much no landpower on Europe that can contend with you. Other then that The British are fairly easy to play with, as is Sweden

Maratha Confederacy is great as long as you can kill or handle the rebellion uprisings:)

maratha is best. at the start of the game you can easily capture 3-2 regions depending on your strategy then just quickily coquer and stabalize mughual empire. after that you can invadethe american indians.then take morocco which doesnt have any allies. after that choose which side your on france spain, united provinces britain austria, prussia poland russia or the sweds and ottomans and destroy the rest

I have to agree but a few little mistakes would bring you down
