How is Empire Total War 2 mod in 2025?

Hi Frens,

I played Empire TW2 mod when it first came out. It had some good moments, but it seemed like they bit off more than they could chew because lots of parts of the game were lacking. Everyone worked super hard on it and I saw it had promise, but uninstalled. For example, I thought having literally thousands of different units to make was ridic but I heard they fixed this.

How is it holding up in 2025... Empire 2 mod compared to Darthmod with Bran AI mod?

I can only compare it with vanilla. For me it feels like a remaster. No gamechangers, but round-shaped all in all.

It's still one of my favorites. Go to Mods DB-- https://www.moddb.com/games/empire-total-war/mods. There are several excellent Mods. I'm playing Pirates uber Alles at the moment.

I have mixed feelings about the mod as I do like alot of the changes but I cant get over how they used Ai in every single loading screen and you can still notice the fact its ai becuase of the issues in the generation, really bugs me, also the mod is like 20 gigs

The specific Regiments seems like unnecessary bloat

the bloat has been somewhat reduced still a bit bloated but not as much as before
